GIS SPECIALIST

DESCRIPTION: Includes geographic data maintenance and creation, mapping and cartography, and GPS data collection, and some field work. Professional office located in Sarasota, great work environment and benefits.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires BA degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience and demonstrated skills with ESRI™ ArcGIS (Arc/INFO-level), ESRI™-Spatial Data Engine (ArcSDE), ESRI™ ArcPAD and Trimble™ TerraSync GPS. Knowledge of AutoDESK™ AutoCAD desired.

HYDROLOGIST/HYDROGEOLOGIST

DESCRIPTION: ENTRIX Water Solutions seeks a Hydrologist/ Hydrogeologist to work with our team on a wide-variety of projects. HYDROLOGIC SPECIALIST I AND II

REQUIREMENTS: 1. Associates degree 2. Hydrologic Specialist I - entry level to less than 1 year of experience 3. Hydrologic Specialist II - 2 years of experience 4. Experience in technical fieldwork, including collecting and recording scientific field data. 5. Ability to work under field conditions in remote areas of Florida is mandatory. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. College-level course work in physical or natural science or engineering, computer information systems or technology, and experience entering/retrieving data into/from a computerized data base and installing and calibrating scientific field devices is preferred, but persons with appropriate education or experience will be considered.
